Daily Routine & Next Week's Plan
Well, we're at the close of our second week in St Andrews. Sharon and I have started to settle into a routine, which promises to be severely disrupted (in a good way) by the return of about 6,000 undergraduates coming back from holiday to resume classes on Monday. Our basic daily routine the last two weeks has been:
8 or 9- Wake up, make tea, check e-mail
9-12- Reading & school work (hunting down books from the library, writing, etc.)
12- lunch
Afternoon- More reading, exploring St Andrews, errands (grocery shopping, etc.), and I usually go for a run before dinner
7- dinner
Evenings- Getting together with friends, more reading, watching football or quirky British TV
I am actually looking forward to classes resuming on Monday. I have been planning out which lectures and seminars I will attend and here is what I am hoping to do:
Monday- go to St Mary's (the divinity school) around 10 to get a timetable of the honours-level modules. Choose two classes to attend (possibly 'Exile and Return', 'The Theology of Paul (taught from the Greek text), or 'Contemporary Theology & Its Challenges')
Tuesday- Go to a couple of classes at St Mary's .
Wednesday- Go to a couple of classes at St Mary's. At 4:15 attend a Philosophy club seminar.
Thursday- Go to a couple of classes at St Mary's. At 5:15 attend the James Gregory Lecture on Islam & Science (Jim, the other schoolteacher fellow, might come to this with me.)
Friday- Go to the ITIA (Institute for Theology, Imagination, and the Arts) seminar at St Mary's.
Sounds like a lot of fun. I wish you could take me with you.

What book are you reading for AP? Keep working and don't let that senioritis get to you! You'll make it...just push to the end (it goes faster that way anyway, and is more satisfying when you finally get there).
